Frequently Asked Questions
Whova is the platform used to manage conference information, including the agenda, session details, attendee networking, and uploaded materials for speakers and exhibitors.
When you are added to the conference, Whova automatically sends one access email containing a personalized, secure link. This link provides access to the event and any roles assigned to your email address.
No. There is no separate login by role. Whova automatically displays the appropriate features based on the roles assigned to your email address.
Attendees can:
- View the agenda and session details
- Build a personal schedule
- Access general conference information
Attendees will not see upload or profile-editing options unless additional roles are assigned.
Participants with additional roles will see expanded options:
- Speakers can edit speaker profiles and upload session slides or handouts
- Exhibitors can manage exhibitor profiles and upload logos or resources
All features are accessed through the same personalized link.
No. The Whova access link is the upload link. There is no separate upload URL. Upload options appear inside Whova after logging in through the personalized link.
The access link is sent automatically by Whova in a single email when you are first added to the event. The email typically comes from no-reply@whova.com.
Whova does not automatically resend this email when roles change.
No. Uploads and profile edits must be completed using the personalized Whova access link in a web browser. The mobile app is for viewing and engagement only.
This usually means:
- You accessed Whova through the mobile app only
- You did not use your personalized access link
- A speaker or exhibitor role has not yet been assigned to your email address
Using the personalized link in a web browser typically resolves this.
No. Whova sends one access email per person per event. That single link supports all assigned roles.
Not necessarily. Whova does not reliably send a new notification when roles are added or updated. Existing access links automatically reflect new permissions.
This most often occurs when you register for the conference using one email address (for example, through Cvent) but have previously used a different email address to access Whova for another event. Whova treats each email address as a separate profile.
Access and permissions are tied to the email address used for conference registration. To ensure full access, please use the personalized Whova access link sent to your registered email address. Duplicate profiles can be merged if needed.
The email may be filtered by security or spam settings. Access links can be re-sent upon request.
Please contact the conference team at ncpn@cord.org to confirm role assignments or request that your access link be re-sent at the access link.
