Mardi Gras Travel Considerations
Fat Tuesday falls on February 17, the day before preconference sessions begin Wednesday afternoon.
New Orleans will be lively with Mardi Gras celebrations through Tuesday evening. If you plan to arrive Tuesday, please allow extra time for traffic and airport crowds.
Travel Tips:
- We are working closely with the hotel team to help ensure smooth arrivals on Tuesday. They will share additional guidance on bell service and the best drop-off locations as we get closer to the event dates.
- We also recommend booking flights early, as Mardi Gras week is a popular travel period.
- Wednesday morning arrivals are a convenient option if you prefer to avoid peak festivities.
