Career Pathways Leadership Certification
June 18–19 • Long Beach, California
Join education and workforce leaders in Long Beach this summer for an in-person Career Pathways Leadership Certification experience focused on strengthening regional career pathways systems and advancing collaboration across education and industry partners.
Designed for Your Community. Aligned for Impact.
This immersive, in‑person professional learning experience supports participants in strengthening career pathways systems. Anchored in CORD’s Framework for Career Pathways Alignment, the certification provides a shared, research‑based approach to designing and improving high‑quality pathways across education and workforce contexts.
Participants engage in hands‑on learning, facilitated discussions, team‑based problem solving, and guided planning focused on key elements of effective pathways: program design, learner navigation, work‑based learning, employer partnerships, and communication. Using the Framework as a practical planning tool, participants assess their current systems and develop clear, actionable plans to support implementation and continuous improvement.
The result is stronger collaboration, improved learner experiences, and more aligned career pathways that are scalable and adaptable across communities.
